Welcome!
I’m a mom of two little girls, a history teacher, an avid reader, and someone who loves traveling.
Here at Gratefully Grounded, we focus on creating a family culture for our children that centers on the values of gratitude, curiosity, learning, and prioritizing quality family time.
We love to travel with our children as well as experience the wonders of the world right from our own home.
As a history teacher of over a decade, I also want to give my children the gift of early learning experiences in reading and social studies. We prioritize reading as much as possible, going on history adventures, and learning about geography and cultures.
Here on the blog you’ll find ideas about traveling with young children (including camping), building a strong family culture, and ideas to help children learn and explore the world around them.
I promise that I’ll only write about and recommend things that I’ve tried and had success with in my own home with my own daughters. I want this to be an authentic place for parents. If my counters are messy in a photo or a picture is blurry because my children were moving- that’s ok! That’s what my real life actually looks like.
Follow along with us as we work to raise children that are grateful and grounded.
